A: It depends how you want to live. BD 300 is a very low salary. As for accommodation, it is very expensive. Many single expats here in Bahrain live together in what we call a headquarters. It's a big house (with 6 to 9 rooms) and each person has his own room and share the bathrooms and the kitchen. If you can live this way it might cost you about BD 30 to BD 50 per month. As for transportation, there's public transportation which is very cheap, but not very reliable especially in this HOT weather. BUT still it all depends on what you seek. As for food, do not worry about that at all. Food is very cheap in Bahrain. It all depends on how you want to live, with BD 300 a month, do not expect to live a decent life.
