Q: i worked in bahrain fo almost 1 year and half.last month i went home due to the sudden death of my father.the company dont want to allow me coz i have 2 years contract with them.but i begged to go home with the agreement that ill buy my back and forth ticket and sign a paper that ill only go for 1 month vacation.they gave me re entry visa before i leave the country. now that im in phils i dont want to come back there anymore.im planning to go to qatar....am i allowed to enter the country thinking that i have an unfinished contract thre and i ahv r entry thre.. please help
A: Now that you have a re-entry visa to Bahrain, you can go back BUT to enter Qatar that's another story. You need to get your residence permit cancelled first and then find a sponsor in Qatar. If you already have one, all you have to do is to call your sponsor in Bahrain & inform him that you are not going back. He will then cancel your residence permit & re-entry visa elecronically. You then can go to Qatar. Until your RP and re-entry visa are not cancelled, you can enter Qatar but cannot work there.
