Q: I am taking up a new assignment in Bahrain. I have been offered 900 BD+ housing and car. I have 2 children. Presently one of them is school going. What would be my monthly expense assuming a normal living style. Earliest reply would be highly appreciated Thanks Aftab
A: The amount you are offered is good. You will be able to save a couple of hundreds every month. As for your children, there are many schools here in Bahrain & with that salary you will be able to admit them to decent schools. There are many schools here in Bahrain, American, British, French, Urdu, Phillipino & Indian Schools. Housing is expensive, but if that is taken care of, you should not worry then. Your expenses will be for tution, food and enterntainment. That should not cost you more than BD 700 as MAXIMUM. Take the offer. You are most welcome in Bahrain.
