Q: My father is currently in Bahrain and wanted to know if i wanted anything from there while he has the opportunity to buy. Are there discounted watches (rolexes, etc) or discounted jewelry?...I would like to pick something nice that would be overpriced in the United States.
A: Make sure anything your dad buys is mailed home because if your father brings anything he purchases on the plane with him he's subjected to customs enforcing duty taxes for items purchased in a foreign country and they can be quite expensive and he can apply what he would be paying in taxes towards shipping the items home by Fed Ex or UPS.
