Q: how are European women treated there? I am 26 yrs old, would it be a problem for a single girl there? how is the cost of living? I was offered around 2300 usd /month +free shared accomodation+ free electricity and local phone calls+ transportation from work to home. A: Bahrain has a lot of British traditions left over from the rule in the past... Western women are treated fine.. Women work outside the home and drive. You'll see all this in the new modern shopping malls.. Your salary is excellent since everything will be practically paid for you.. But sorry, I have no idea about Gulf Air's reputation..
