Q: If i will be relocating to Bahrain and will need a car to move around. What will be the charges if i would like to rent a car for long term? Understand that only Permanent resident can but a car there. Can anyone advise. Thanks
A: It depends where you rent it from. For daily, or even weekly rentals, you can either go to Budget, Hertz, Thrifty or any of those offices. The more days you rent the cheaper it gets. Prices may start from BD 8 per day for small cars reaching upto BD 200 for luxury cars. For longer periods, like months and years, some agents have car rentals (just like Toyota). I rented a Lexus ES 350 for one year, and they charge me B.D 350 per month. You can also rent to own.
