Q: I actually think it is a perfectly normal thing to do. I also believe that it kinda prevents you from doing the "real thing" without marriage/ or in a young age. What I'm concerned with is that some people think it is haram, when I ask some people who knows alot in religion, it was proven that there is absolutely NO evidence in hadith/quran that masturbation is haram. There are some ayat however that religion scientists are confused in. But it is said that masturbation is "makrooh", but not haram. Please share your thoughts.
A: whether it is haram or not: the issue here is that if you let your self into being addicted to it, it will exhaust your efforts, your time, and keep you in more need for sexual stimulation, and this will lead you to seek porn websites and trying cyber chatting and so on. and of course all of this is HARAM. and also it will distort the way you perceive girls, and your attitude talking with them and looking, and it is sensible by the way so dont just take it as a granted way to seek pleasure - thats totally haram. if you were that mush stimulated and did it, just take a shower and dont go with your fantizies further. and dont blame your self that much.. much blaming will lead you to more addiction... dont just let your self into it. (gahed nafsak) and pray to Allah to guid you in life and to gift you love through marraige as soon as possible inshallah remember one of the 10 people who will be under Allah shadow in judgement day is a young man who was raised with a heart full of fear and love (takwa) to Allah. a man as you in your age. try to focus on your work, your study, hang out with friends, get involved in summer camps, go to sakiat el sawi, try to search for any youth group in facebook who are interested in something to do.. join a sports club and practice something. go to cinemas with your friends.. go shopping, go to eat in a fast food shop. all what i m saying: you have to find things you enjoy your self with, find other forms of pleasure away from masturbation. things that motivates you..
