Q: what are the basis on which they make their legislations and laws? do you think someday they gonna address the issue of polgny and polygamy in the courts and make it legal.
A: Elections! that's it, nothing to do with morals, laws or anything like that. Countries with large numbers of Gays/Lesbians will have political parties wanting to attract votes of those. Countries where people are more conservative will not bring up the issue. Polygamy is not well understood in the western world (not even in Muslim world in my opinion). Any political party in the west that try to legalise Polygamy is basically committing political suicide, who would vote for them ? It is only purely political.
