If i buy somthing online to Egypt i will recive it in my home or i will need to go to port or airport?

A: Yes i did through Amazon.com and it is delivered to my home as a postal package. when you order from Amazon.com it is usually shipped to Holland or Germany, and then shipped again to Egypt, it arrives at the central berue of Packages of the Egyptian Mail System in Ramsis Square, and then it is distributed to Egyptians provinces as mentioned in the address. and then your local post office will contact you or deliver it to you. Remember: if you purchased more than "ONE item" (regardless the type of the item) you will pay additional fees as customs (i don't understand how it is calculated, but it would be around 30 - 70 L.E. which is equal to 5.6-13 US $) but you dont pay customs for one item regardless its price. things to recommend: don't select high speed delivery, it doesn't differ that much. standard speed arrives with-in 10-20 days only which is convenient to me. use a credit card that does NOT bill you additional fees as currency conversion commission. El Ahly Bank is the best one to deal with, it does not bill you for currency conversion commission. just the price of the puckage. and they use the conversion prices that are issued by the Central National Bank.
