Q: are players slaves in this age ? they are for sale when they are not on good terms with the administration , or when they dont achieve for their clubs .why arent their contracts terminated instead of getting sold ?

A: it is a global policy. Contracts can not just be terminated because they invested in this player fitness and skills through his training sessions and matches. so it is accepted logically that they deserve some pay-back for their efforts in his fitness. and that's why the previous club still has its own share in this new contract. (if the player played to club a, and then played for club b, and then did a new contract with club c. club a still has a share in this new contract) What you mentioned is dirty work of gossip newspaper (what we call it yellow newspaper) they just use flashy headlines to attract attention. The right version of this new is: a club is doing some communication with its connections to grantee his player a new contract in another club as their team is not in need for his efforts. No club advertise a player for sale in tv show or in a street banner. However some club authorities in Egypt deal with players with the concept that they own them, and it is a cultural norm in our society to control their employees and use them.
