Q:

A: ok as i said earlier it differs alot from man to another and the way each want to express his muscularity. some men look better without a mustache and some do. and some looks good in both. but each look convey a certain affective image of him. some men like to look younger when they shave their mustache and some men like to look older (teenagers :O) also there is cultural effect: in some places like Syria, Iraq, Iran mustaches are much more common, while in north Africa (as us) clean shaving is more common. also in the same country you will find this is different (like rural areas and urban areas) you can notice that sometimes job selection has some relation to mustache. (officers and soldiers) sometimes it is related to the fame of a pop singer, or how the president look (really in Sadat days, many people used to smoke pipe) like in the 70s and early 80s men used to raise long hair and moustaches ----------------------------------------------- after all: sense of achievemen in his life, sense of being in control over his life, an attitude of plan and do, maturity and confidence in dealing with new situations and handling conflicts (stress is ok): all of this adds a lot to man's image of manhood. being able to hold on his desires for good manners is another meaning for manhood. a man who can drive his desires not the opposite. his ability to contain his wife, not to confront her is another aspect too.
