Has Egypt ended its DST (Daylight saving time) due to Ramadhan? I'm totally confused..?

Q: ..and what time is it for iftar? Is Ramadhan 1st September? Help!!

A: Yes. Usually, the DST wouldn't normally end for two more weeks but due to Ramadan, they ended it earlier. Iftar will be approximatley at 6:20 PM during the first days of Ramdan and will shift to be as early as 5:40 PM by the end of it. And yes, Ramdan will start tomorrow (Monday, September 1st).
