Q: Hi, I'm planning a trip to Egypt for next year and was wondering if it is easier/cheaper/better to organize a Nile trip on a felucca (sailing boat) before you leave or can you sort it out when you get there. Feel free to provide any experiences you've have, any info will help.
A: a Nile cruise in a feluca doesnt need organization before you come over to Egypt. when you are here , in Cairo , Luxor , or Aswan, you can rent a feluca that would be sailed by its owner for a few hours . it's very pleasant . in Cairo , other felucas carrying happy Egyptians listening to songs , singing , etc make you catch the mood . in Luxor or Aswan , the cruise would be serene , and beautiful in a different way. have a nice trip.
