A: Kenya is safe at the moment and all operators are still taking passengers. The foreign office advise on the worst at all times and are there to help. They make sure that you know probably the worst case. If you look up other destinations you will find the same. As long as the foreign office is not advising against all travel to Kenya then you will be fine with regards to insurance reasons. Kenya is one of the most beautiful and friendly places I have been lucky enough to visit. It is somewhere you will want to go back to time and time again. All countries have their rebel groups which cause trouble. Spain gets it every year and the Spanish groups target toursits ( in Kenya they didn't target tourists ) but they always say it is safe to travel. Like any country be sensible. Don't carry around loads of cash and flash lots of jewelery about the place. keep valuables in the safe and most of all enjoy yourself.
