Q: I have been told that Morocco dose not recognize Australian dollars. I would have to change my Australian money into euros before I leave the country, and when I get to Morocco just then get the Euros changed into Dirham. Is this true? I will only have $1000 on me because I have been warned the ATMs are unreliable sometimes. It will be my first trip to Morocco and that is the only thing I am not sure about.
A: hey there.....I am an aussie have been living in morocco for 1 year now..no you cant change aussie money here at all its useless your best to convert some into euro or american...euro would be better because you can use that shopping as well but change it into dirham when you come but if you bring aussie money cant change it or use it ....its like newspaper....anyway have a nice time if you want any advice just email me.....coming at a nice time beating the cold weather hey....have fun
