Q: Morocco. I only have 5 and a half months left on my passport. Am I gonna get any problems? Is this kind of thing checked really avidly, will I get sent home or should I not worry?
A: I think you won't be able to leave your country if you have less than 6 months left on your passport, to prevent a problem when you re-enter the country. Maybe you can get your passport renewed before you leave and pay some money to have the process expedited. These days everything is checked under a microscope when traveling internationally. I've been to Marrakech several times, fun, exotic, beautiful places, tasty foods and not enough time to see and do everything in one or two trips.
