Q: let me just say i have heard some things about toilet use in morocco. what exactly could an american who has never been to morocco expect? is there really no toilet paper? are there at least sinks?
A: depends where you go? if you stay at hotels then they will have western toilets, but if you go to rural places or public loos in smaller towns or older cities they wont have western loos. moroccan toilets are better any way, much more hygienic, no chance of catching crabs or any other STD's. and yes its better to use water, freshen your self up and cleanese you properly rather then just paper.! i always carry hand sanitizer with me, one of those small bottles, and as most women do carry lots of tissues :D be well prepared for any scenario.
