I am renting out my home for 6 months and want to be a beach bum for 3 - 6 months ... where should I go?

Q: I want to go traveling for 3 - 6 months, beginning August and I basically want to be a beach bum on a beautiful beach. I love Grenada and Grand Anse Beach but I can't afford regular hotel rates. My budget will be $3K per month to include everything ie food, accommodation and entertainment. I am thinking Caribbean or South East Asia but I have never done extended trips before. I need to find places with long term rentals as I won't be able to afford hotel rates All ideas, comments, advice greatly appreciated Thanks Where are the best places in Bali to be a robinson crusoe type beach bum?? :)

A: Are wanting to travel abroad? My cousins go to Bali all the time. They are surfers and they come back to the mainland every 6 months just to save a few grand or so and then they spend the next 6 months in Bali. They tell me that you can get one of those beach bungalos for like 10-30 bucks a nite. hope that gives you a good start!
