A: Iraq has a typical desert climate with little rain. In the hottest part of the day in summer +50C is possible. On the high ground in winter snow is possible but rare. Just before dawn temperatures can be as low as -20C. If your planning a trip be prepared for dust storms which can reduce visibility to almost zero and can last for several days. Not recommended for a summer vacation at present. Ian M
