Wat do u all suggest.?? sincere suggestions required.

A: This question is hard to answer without knowing your work contract, current salary and terms and conditions of your company. Expats working in Gulf States normally negotiate a "salary package" including the basic salary and the benefits. Many times these contracts are limited for a certain time (2-3 years). Having signed such a contract it may be hard to ask for a salary raise. In general (just my personal opinion) 6 months are to short for a pay raise unless you have to do more and take more responsibility then expected. In this case also your job profile should be changed. Best time to mention the wish of a pay raise is the evalution day (normally one the year), when you will be told if the company is satisfied with your work. Next time negotiate a pay raise after probation at the beginning and have that be stated in the work contract. All the best.
