Q: My husband and I are adopting an infant from Ethiopia and want some info or opinions on names. If you were adopted at an early age would you want a name that fit the culture you would grow up in?(an American name). We were thinking of keep one of his names for the middle name and giving him another name for the first name. What would you prefer?
A: There are Ethiopian names that are kinda american also. thats what i would do and will do when naming my child. (im ethiopian) there are names like solomon, abraham, samuel, helen, elsa, liya. basically ANY biblical name. lol. look up ethiopian baby names
