Q: I would love to do voluntary work in Africa, where i work with babies and families. I don't know where to start looking into what i i need to do to make that dream reality. I live in Scotland so i'd need to look into scottish charties but i don't know any :/. Would love to hear from peoplewho have been and done voluntary work in Africa. Thank-you
A: If you are under 25, have a look at latitude - http://www.lattitude.org.uk/ I went to Malawi with them and they are pretty good. Unlike a lot of organisations, they are a registered charity who subsidise the cost of each placement. There were several Scottish people in the country at the same time as me.
