Q: does any one know any differences from the iran weddings to the american weddings? and than foods iranians people eat ~ thanks

A: In Iran, people eat lots of kebabs (lamb or chicken). Their kitchen is not hot spicey, instead it tends more to the mild and sour. Rice, as in most of the middle east, and various soft flat breads. Iranians add all sorts of mild flavouring to their rice, often saffron (for a yellow rice, and there is green rice). Kufte: A kind of mega meatball with apricot or date in the middle. Dolme: a roll of meat wrapped in a cabbage. I can't remember the name of a pot of mutton stew served at the table which you mash your bread into. Very tastey. In general lots of mutton and chicken. Dates, with goat's cheese, golden honey and flat bread. Often consumed with tea, and with a water pipe. Dhug: A sour watery yoghurt drink, which may on ocassion be carbonated. Pommegranat juice. .
