Anybody know the origins of the xenophobic attacks?

Q: A little birdy told me... Well, to be exact, an old man living in the Alex hostel told us in a taxi on Sunday morning what really happened. There has been a burst of shacks around the hostels for some time from foreigners. The men and women by the hostels have been living in fear for ages and the police had done nothing about it, except give case number after case number. The men of the hostel (mostly zulu men) were tired of being mugged and killed by foreigners in the morning and evening whilst going to and coming back from work. It finally hit one of the committee members hard when his visiting girlfriend got raped heading home to get ready for work by one of the foreingers living by the shacks. They held one last meeting and went in search of the culprit ravaging from sahck to shack trying to identify the culprit. It got out of control when others who had also been sick of this joined in venting their frustration. He said they had not meant to let it spin out of control to that extent, and was sorry peoples lives were lost. The culprit is still not found and they're scared to approach the police as it has spun out of so much control they'd be brought to bad justice for trying to find a rapist and get rid of people terrorizing their families for yonks... Do you think if this got out to the press maybe people would slow down after understanding the real reason behind the first attack? I told him I might try to get the story published if I spoke to our media people as its spinning out of control. I saw a dead body this morning and hurled in the taxi I was in... Lord my day has gone worse.... I feel ya Lise, but what scares me is that on Tuesday night heading home from a recording, a young Zulu guy was rather confused about my race and asked if I was coloured. I told him I was Tswana and he told me that it meant I should go to Botswana. I wasn't scared at all, I dared him and begged him to send me to Bots as it is far more disciplined than South Africa and even if I dont know where it is, I wouldnt mind going there as SA sucks!!! There, I said and phew do I feel much better!!! Guys I'm still reeling from seeing that dead guy in the street...

A: Sorry baby, the origins for all this can be laid at the feet of the beloved 'Madiba'. If he'd sealed the borders when his terrorist ANC seized power in 1994, none of this would be happening. South African blacks are justifiably pissed off at foreign invaders taking their jobs, mugging them, setting up crime syndicates, and basically destroying the country.
