Do ceasing to smoke cause a personality change?

Q: when you stop to smoke cigarettes do your personality change? Do you get more aggressive, impatient, lethargic etc. besides the obvious getting (sigh) apparently fat? Hennie what is a "does" a kardoes? What does that have to do with smoking or do you mean "doos"? Roadrunner I will take you up on that one.....

A: I refer you to Pixel's first ever answer on yahoo answers. (So proud, first answer ever and it's best answer). lol Anyway....instead of writing all that out again.... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AuxsmtJ13qNvq0StOl6N65vty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20080113235802AAzYuNC&show=7#profile-info-aDYwKV4raa And to add on to that: You get grumpy because you are not doing what your habit wants you to do. We all get grumpy when we don't do what we want to do. :) The fat thing: Your body is substituting smoking with eating. One habit for another. I've actually met people who drink more after quitting smoking. Key is to identify the new "substitute" habit and squash it!! Oh and I quit smoking cold turkey and didn't pick up any weight or start drinking more :P I identified what was going on and knew I wasn't pregnant or having pms. I actually lost 5kg, because I kept busy with other stuff. Breaking the habit!!
