Q: the US of A, or the UK? I asked my brother the other night after watching 500 Greatest Rock Songs...it was a hard choice. so who do you? think (forgot to add that in my last question)
A: Definitely the U.S., the Beatles were a load of liberal hippie crap and considering the sheer volume of music made by the Rolling Stones, only a very small percentage can be considered quality, you then have Cat Stevens' terrorist conversion into Yusuf Islam and what more? Maybe an unoriginal reincarnation of the Beatles through Oasis? Most of the great musicians and bands originate from the U.S. - starting with Elvis and moving to Guns 'n Roses, Aerosmith, REM, Def Leppard, Metallica, CCWR and Nirvana (I personally think Nirvana is a load of crap but mentioned them none the less). Mind you, I just recalled that Led Zeppelin is British, perhaps I will then call it a draw.
