Q: How did it effect you personally?

A: It was bloody marvelous like Hennie said, we used to sleep with our doors and windows wide open in Summer or "camped" outside in our garden in a tent. I used to walk everywhere any time, our house nor cars never got broken into, my bicycle was never stolen, you got the death sentence for serious crimes, there was less poverty, everything WORKED and all the government departments were HIGHLY efficient. Utopia, oh and we had electricity 24/7. We had better schools, hospital, excellent defense force and police force, no corruption.....
