Q: I noticed this morning the exhaust on our car is almost burnt out (can't believe we never noticed it before and it went for a service at the end of last year??) and need to prepare myself mentally for the amount of money we will need to fork out for this. Daihatsu Feroza??? the "pipe"(the bit that sticks out at the back of the car - guess who is not mechanically minded haha) for the exhaust is gone - have no idea what condition the rest of the exhaust is in.
A: Assuming that it's only the rear silencer that is worn out and the vehicle is not a luxury car as stated by Skooby, then it would most probably be between R400 and R600, possibly more, possibly less. Don't bother with Speedy though, they're a rip off in my personal experiences, I've found Hi-Q and Supa Quick to be the most reasonably priced.
