Q: Today I was visiting a friend and she was telling me the shocking news of her cousin who turned 18 this week, is dating a man of 55 years of age!!!! I nearly had a heart-attack!! I mean I am not against big age differences because myself and my boyfriend have a 6 year age gap. At first my parents did not approve until they met him which he showed that he is a good man and a gentlemen whom treats me with the up most respect and love. However, I am not hear to discuss my love life but ask what possesses a man of 55 to date a woman whom is only 18? It's a 37 year age difference! It's not like it's money either because he is on what we call the "Doll" so basically he has non.. lol Personally I think it is just sick but what do you think of this? Have you heard of bigger age gapes before?
A: I also had a cousin who decided to marry a man older than her father. That was way in 1977. I wonder if her husband is still alive? He was fat and wrinkly, and my uncle was tall, slim and fit and full of life. I cannot answer your question - it is something the whole extended family could not understand it, but it was her choice! And YES, there is a couple in Germany, the man is 48 years older than his wife. BUT, she is very, very lucky because her husband is still alive and fit as a fiddle for a man of 104 !!
