Do you find it difficult to make friends as you get older?

Q: I'm starting to think that now. There's many people I have met since my move but for some reason I just cant get to consider them as my friends. I think that cos maybe when I was young I was still trying to find myself and just went with the flow. But now that I know who I am and am content with my friends now. Whats your opinion? ***** Yeah Lise K I'm from PE and is currently working in clicky Cape Town!

A: when your older you dont need to find acceptance...as you stated you know who you are and what defines you. Me personally, i find that as i got older the more "friends" i have the more problems i had, because they're problems became my problems. by my own definition a friend is someone you can count on, i invite over to the house for a bbq, link up with on the weekend, let borrow the corless drill and know your going to get it back. someone you can get drunk around and be alright. collegues are people you can talk to but you wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary. maybe get a drink, but you wouldn't get drunk. so i keep a big network of collegues and a small amount of friends. easier to deal with people at a distance.
