Q: Is metal tables (those long ones with the fold up legs) as strong as they were 50 years ago or are less steel used now because of the shortage of steel in the world? Who have ever danced on a table?
A: I doubt that there would be much of a difference in how they are manufactured now as compared to years gone by...... Perhaps those dancing on such tables should for safety purposes ensure that the latches underneath are firmly clipped down and the table legs are rigid before undertaking such life threatening maneuvers? Yes, I have many and I do mean many table stories, some too embarrassing to mention, specifically an incident at the McGinty's Pub in Hatfield Pretoria which ended with me being violently removed from that establishment and thrown into the Hatfield Square fountain in peak winter....... Now, the question on my mind is, do you personally have any experience dancing on tables Lise? :)
