Q: If i transfer funds from my Standard bank account to a friend's ABSA account, the money will be taken off immediately from my balance but will reflect the next day in my friends account. While the money is hanging around in cyber space, who is earning interest on the cash? I highly doubt the money is in cyberspace, it has to be allocated to an account but I am dead sure someone is earning interest on it. Although I work for a bank, I could not seem to get an answer...
A: Skooby.....are you high up in FNB?? Those buggers!!!! Internet banking has become such a schlep these days, you might as well go into the bank. They should give give you banking fee money for doing it via internet. You saved paper and money for them.
