A: If it's just for a holiday, you would be better off to kennel your dog or get somebody to look after him/her. It's not worth all the administrative hassle to get him to SA, as well as the fact that by the time the dog clears quarantine you might be on your way home. It's also a pretty brutal trip for the dog who would have to travel in the cargo hold.
