A: There are many different excursions offered - which one(s) you want to go on will depend on what interests you, and which tour operator you decide to go with (they do not all offer the exact same thing). Some of the popular excursions are to Douz (the Sahara), the Isle of Djerba, a trip to see some of the Star Wars sets, a trip to the capitol of Tunis, etc. I have been all around Tunisia and love every part of it! Going to Douz is nice because next month the weather should be tolerable. Visiting the south is a unique experience because they have traditions and a culture that is not found in the north. As for needing to cover up, it is not necessary. People walk around in shorts, short sleeve/sleeveless shirts, and tourists sunbathe topless.
