Q: I need to dress my scout group in Tunisian national costume for the opening ceremony of the East Sussex jamboree. I cannot find any pictures online of what we should be wearing. We only have four weeks before we go. HELP!!!
A: The Traditional dress in Tunisia differs depending on the region and the ceremony. People of the south tend to have more brightly colored clothing than people of the north. The type of clothes worn for weddings would also differ from the type of clothes worn for everyday life. In Tunisia now, people dress in a very modern way. They take their fashion cues from Europe (mainly France) and dress accordingly. I do have some pictures of traditional dress for various situations in the various regions of Tunisia.
