A little further is: Hergla Karting Park Rte de Tunis 4012 Hergla, Sousse TUNISIA 216.73.25.14.87 - phone 216.73.25.14.86 - fax It is another amusement pak and offers lots of fun. There is one ride on there that is extremely fun, but not for the faint of heart! I've been on it - it takes you high in the air, and turns you every which way, and even stops and let you dangle for a bit. There is an International Diving Center at Port El Kantaoui, which is open all year. The Medina in Sousse is a place to visit because of it's historical value, and because you can find a lot of nice things at reasonable prices. There are many small stores, and shopping centers in Sousse, and two major ones are Tej Marhaba and Slim Center. There are also many cafes throught the city. The beaches are nice and pristine. The hotels also offer extras such as horseback riding, wind surfing, para sailing, etc. for an extra fee. The Great Mosque is a surprisingly tranquil place despite its location in the middle of the city. You must be properly dressed to enter, but green wraps can be rented for a token fee to cover up. The Mosaic Museum, in the gently crumbling old kasbah on the edge of the medina is also worth a look. The Ribat is good to visit because this is what was used for defense in olden times. There are also Catacombs that are nice to see if you like history. I hope I helped you out, and if you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.
