A: Depends on where you are going....Hammamet, Sousse, and Port el Kantoui are quite toruisty places (Hammement in particular), and you do have to be careful on the market stalls....especially if they hear an english accent but you'll find you may go into stores where the prices are fixed and you can't haggle. Women do need to be quite careful at night time but in the day is fine....if you just walk away or ignore any hassle then they generally get the point! I'd recommend that women go out in twos just to feel a bit more secure but the men generally don't mean any harm....just a bit over freindly sometimes and it's not as sleazy as people make out! in terms of food there is pretty much everything...you can try traditional tunisian food or there are plenty of places that sell english type food. The beaches are lovely, and there's generally plenty of opportunities for watersports wherever you go. Or on the otherhand there's plenty of opportunties to relax in the quieter resorts but there truly is somehting for everyone! Just be careful if you are going in August beginning of September as it gets really really hot! Enjoy our trip, I'm sure you'll love it!
