Number of people per doctor in Tunisia?

Q: ok i have a project due and im doing tunisia and i need to know the number of people per doctor ive tryed all the sites like google and stuff and couldnt find it, so if u could help me that would be great thanks

A: You won't come up with an answer to that because it varied widely. *In small rural town for example, you will have a higher percentage of patients per doctor than in bigger towns. *Some people go to a different city to visit their doctor because either they have known them before, gotten a referral, or that doctor specializes in their sickness. *Another thing that would make it hard to determine is that some doctors also take up work in the hotels, meaning that whenever a tourist gets sick, the hotels call for certain doctors that they have agreements with to come take care of them. This could make those doctors look like they have less patients when in fact that is not the case. *Poorer people tend to go to the hospitals for care instead of doctors themselves, and there is no way to document with accuracy the amount of patients a doctor in a hospital sees because the number fluctuates on a daily basis. *People tend to go to doctors who specialize in the type of sickness they have. General doctors are really only used if you have a cold. Because of this, you will have a difference in the number of patients a general practitioner sees, versus the number a cardiologist sees. There are a lot of other circumstances that would make for this type of research impossible as well. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
