What is the current weather in Hammamet, Tunisia? Is it warm enough to swim? (Flying tomorrow!)?

Q:

A: The weather is already starting to cool down from the extreme heat of summer, but is still plenty hot! Normal daytime temperatures for Hammamet are in the mid 80'sF (high 20'sC). At nights we have nice cool breezes, with temperatures being in the high 60'sF (high teensC). I suggest that you bring shorts and short sleeved shirts for the daytime, plus a hat and sunglasses. For nights, you should bring at least one pair of long pants or jeans. The weather still is not cool enough to warrant anything warmer than that. As for swimming in the Sea, that is up to you. Most people have already given up on that as the temperatures are cooling off and there are breezes now, but you can still find a few people who swim straight through until the last possible moment. If you do decide to swim in the Sea, be sure that you dry off completely, and take a shower right away so that you don't catch a cold.
