Q: There will be a variety of outings, so I need to pack a few different outfits. I'll be staying for 5 weeks, with a lot of daytrips and travel.
A: January is winter time in Tunisia. The weather is generally cold and rainy in all parts of the country (there is snow if you head up to the mountains), and if you are staying in a Sea cost resort, it is also humid which makes the weather feel even colder. If you plan of visiting the Sahara, not only will it be cold, but there will be a lot of dust storms at this time as well. You will want to pack clothes that you would normally pack if you are going somewhere in the winter. I suggest that you bring: *pants and or jeans *long sleeved shirts *sweaters *warm socks *closed toe shoes (boots or tennis shoes are good) *a warm jacket (hat, scarf, and mittens are optional, but most people use them here) If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
