Study Standard Arabic and Magrebi Spoken In Tunisia?

Q: I am interested in taking up Standard Arabic along side Spoken Arabic of the Mghreb in Tunisia , anyone in Tunis or Algeria can recommend me a good school or private tutors IN tunis or Algiers? I can read and write arabic and speak some. NOTE : I dont speak french at all. So I prefer English to Arabic or purely Arabic. All class should be private one on one.

A: You will not find a school like that her in Tunisia. The only schools here in Tunisia teach in groups. If you insist on being taught privately one on one, then your only option is to hire a private tutor, and their prices will vary depending on how many hours a day you want to be taught, how many days a week, the duration of tutoring (1 month, 2 months, etc), what you level is already, what exactly you are wanting to learn, etc. To find a private tutor you will need to contact your Embassy for listings. Many people do not advertise this as most just go to the schools. If you already speak Arabic, then it is not that hard to learn Tunisian dialect. It's basically the difference of how people speak from the US to England - there are some differences, but the majority of the words are the same. If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
