Q: Hi everyone, I'm flying with Tunisair in about 10 days time. I booked online and received an e-ticket so assumed that was all I needed. Just by chance, someone mentioned to me that you need to re-confirm your flight with Tunisair. I was surprised because I thought most airlines did away with this years ago. Anyway, do I need to re-confim? If so, when? And whom do I call, bearing in mind that I have had no direct contact with Tunisair as I booked through expedia because I couldn't be bothered with the Tunisair dodgy French website. Thanks for any help.

A: I use E-tickets with TunisAir all the time (my husband is a pilot with them) and I've never had to reconfirm anything. My husband buys our tickets anywhere from 1 day to 1 month ahead of when we plan on traveling and I've never had any problems (even when I travel without my husband. It is true that ALL airlines still suggest that you reconfirm your tickets before your flight just to make sure that nothing has happened to your reservation. I find that usually I have to do this when I am flying on European and US airlines. If you want to confirm your flight with TunisAir, you can do so through their website: http://www.tunisair.com/publish/home.asp?lang=en Happy travels, and if I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
