What to bring with me when going on a 2-day terrain vehicle trip, with a night in a tent in April?

Q: Take own water, light, or some warm clothes? A mosquito cream-any you could recommend? What boots?etc

A: Be sure to bring jeans or other warm pants, long sleeved shirts, a sweater or sweatshirt, warm socks, hiking boots, a warm jacket, sunglasses, and (these are optional, but probably best to bring) a hat and gloves. Are you going by yourself or with a tour company? Depending on that answer will depend on what other things you will need to bring. I would say in either case, you should bring at least one pack (6 bottles) of water, any medications you might need should you get sick or that you take regularly, some snack food, a map, a flashlight, and some extra money in case of an emergency. Mosquitoes are not out in April, so I wouldn't worry about them, but if it makes you feel better to bring insect repellent, go ahead. The local pharmacies sell a few different products and they all work very well. If you update your question to include if you are going by yourself or with a tour operator, you will get better answers of what you need to bring. Also, if you include which part of the country, or which cities you plan on visiting I could give you advice on what to see/do there. If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.
