languages in tunisia?

Q: what do you think will do me good in tunisia, and which of these will be more popular in the upcoming few years ?? Italian, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Russian. Which will be better for me as i already know arabic french and little spanish(i like it but am not sure if i will ever need it) ...or do you think that thats a lil confusing, should i then take theatre or drawing like everybody else, they say they're easier at my HS??

A: I'm surprised you don't already know Italian! My husband learned it by watching Rai Uno all the time when he was young - before they had satellite TV. There are a few possibilities. Italian and German would be good to learn because a lot of people from those countries always come here for vacation. I see nationals from those two countries even more than I see nationals from France! Spanish is good, but there still aren't many tourists from Spain that come here. Since you already know French, Spanish and Italian will be easy to learn since they are all Romance languages. Plus Spanish and Italian share a LOT of words. Chinese would be fun, but in all reality, would you really use it? I haven't seen one Chinese tourist! lol Russian would be interesting and could actually come in handy. There are more and more tourists coming from Russia and Russian is supposed to be the next "it" language to learn. I would take a language. Don't take a class just because it's easy. Take a class that will benefit you in the future. Unless you plan on going into the arts when you are older, theater or drawing won't benefit you - those are things that were considered "Extra" at my high school, meaning they were done in addition to all our other classes and we didn't get credit or grades for them. If you learn another language it will (hopefully) stay with you forever and open up opportunities for you that you might otherwise not be able to experience.
