Q: I'm going to Tunisia for 20 days in May and I have a few questions about booking places to stay. No places seem to have any sort of internet way of booking, so that's out of the question. Is it unreasonable to just show up and hope for the best? I'm going from Tunis, down the coast, into the Sahara, across the salt sea and back up to the north. Should I just wing it, or should I book some places? And if I should book, how do you do it?
A: It is possible to book hotel rooms over the internet. Which hotels were you looking for, maybe I could give you their sites? As for your second question, you can try to wing it. It's hard to say how full places will be because it's always varying. If hotels are full in a certain city, you might have to try going into another city to find a vacancy.
