Q: So, my company is offering a rotation to Dubai. I have put my name in the hat and wanting to know additional info. If you have lived in Dubai, how is it for Americans? Is it a fun place? Can you drink there? Are there a lot of other Americans? Is it hard to make friends there? How big of a culture shock is it? Any info you think would be helpful, please share. Have a good one-
A: I'm an American and I love living here. I've been here for two years now and we are hoping to stay for 5. It is really not that much different. Every one speaks English, so no worries there. Good luck and I hope you get the transfer.
