Is alcohol allowed in Dubai?

A: Yes it is allowed but regulated. Regulated in a sense that only hotels/establishments/store who are licensed by the Dubai Government to serve, sell, trade, etc... can do. And only individuals who apply for a liquor license (as a consumer) and approved (they will be given a card with limited consumption) can purchase. Otherwise, anyone on the right age can visit any alcohol serving hotels then buy and drink on the same place. It cannot be taken home or outside the premises of the licensed place. Goodluck !
