Q: can somebody tell me where can I find cheap but quality brand new furnitures and appliances in Dubai?
A: IKEA is the best, but prices are a bit on the higher side. I'm surprised that someone thinks Carrefore is something to compare with IKEA. lol But now a days, there is a gr8 part-sale going on in IKEA. Fantastic time to shop there. Yet other alternatives are Home Center & Homes-r-Us. But if you still want something looking more or less the same but much cheaper, go to Sharjah's Istiqlal Street. You have to deal with the smelly environment & people there, but if you spend some time walking shop to shop, you can find somewhat good stuff.
