A: Dear At first, the currency of Dubai(UAE) is not Dinars and it is Dirhams (AED). For a Mechanical Engineer (even if he/she is not having experience/fresh, will get AED 6000 basic in construction companies. And will increase depending on your work experiences. The offered one is not a better package, as even Indian Construction Companies like Dodsal Engineering Pte Ltd, Punj Lloyd Limited, etc are offering AED 6000 as basic and Food, Accomodation, ticket to home with paid leave at least in 6 months, benefits, transportation here in UAE. So, you have 3 months working experience also, so try to get a basic (not gross) salary of AED 7000 (min). If the company giving 4000 after food and accomodation, and your expenditure is average, then you can save AED 3000-3500 from your salary. Try other jobs, in Indian Construction Companies (those are leaders in the world now) like www.dodsal.com, www.punjlloyd.com, and they are having the major construction projects in Middle East too.
