Q: I left dubai in Feb. 2007 after settling down all my dues with the company, however I'm not sure if those people have cancelled my visa or not, Now my question is, Its been almost 2 years now, Would I be able to work in Dubai again if I get an opportunity or Do I need to get a stamp on my visa first saying this has been cancelled ?? Doess that stamp really matters ?

A: If you officially left the previous company then your visa should have been cancelled at the time of your leaving dubai in Feb 2007. Did the PRO or anyone from your company come to see you off at the airport with the cancellation documents? Does your old visa have cancelled perforations on it? Yes the stamp matters. You will need to contact your old company to settle the issue because everything has to be done by them in Dubai.
